Now a bitter war starts between one who is lusting for power, the one who wants vengeance and the one who is eager for success. ******************* After Man of Vendetta (2010) and his unfortunate sophomore effort The Spies (2012), director Woo Min-ho proves that he has a lot more to offer in this latest effort, gifting us a film that is confident in its execution and sharp in its writing. Kristalni čas: ko zagorijo vse avtorjeve zvezde in zazevajo vsi njegovi prepadi

Konteksti (Tomaž Bešter), 21. avgust 2016 ― Pred dnevi, ko sem obračal zadnje strani Kristalnega časa, sem bržkone po naključju pred oči dobil skenogram iz zapuščine Lojzeta Kovačiča, na katerem se nahaja tipkopis z mnogimi avtorjevimi rokopisnimi korekturami. Delo v NUK ima ta privilegij, da vsake toliko predse prejmem kak podoben biser, za katerega sicer sploh vedel ne bi. Pomembno pa je zato, ker je vsebina tega lista, ki niti cel ni zapolnjen, povsem sovpadala z razmislekom, ki ga je Kovačič ponudil v tem monumentalnem delu Kristalni čas. Takšnega dela namreč nihče nima priložnosti brati prav pogosto. Napiše pa ga redkokdo. In v veselje mi je, da sem se ga končno lotil, v vzpodbudo temu pa je bila ponovna izdaja romana, ki ga je pred tedni oskrbela Beletrina. A nazaj k skenogramu. Ta ima naslov Nadaljevanje stoletij. Priznam, da Kovačičevega dela ne poznam dovolj, da bi lahko umeščal njegove zapuščinske predmete kamorkoli, in tega niti ne bom poizkušal. Bo pa to, tako kot vedno, zapis o vtisih branja. Z vsemi pritiklinami, ki so me ob tem doletele. In tako je tu tudi Nadaljevanje stoletij. To je kratek avtorjev zapis o literaturi. V njem je Lojze Kovačič pisal (tudi) o tem, kaj je zanj smoter vsega pisanja, kaj on išče v knjigah in literaturi. Pisal je, da ga zanima le, ali si je avtor izpisal srce iz prsi, ali je pustil, da so zagorele vse njegove zvezde, zazevali vsi njegovi prepadi. Te besede sem nato obrnil natanko proti njemu samemu in njegovemu Kristalnemu času.Odgovor je nepotreben. Kristalni čas je obračun s samim seboj, v katerem je pustil na papirju vse. Z nitjo misli povezane ideje o življenju in tem, kar ga obvladuje, zavite v melanholijo minevanja, v katerem zvezde gorijo še danes. Poudarjam, govorim o sebi, zmeraj samo o sebi, o svojem počutju, ki bi se ga prav rad znebil, in to govorim v tem nestvarnem času, polnem znamenj, simbolov, parol, obredov, ceremonij, formulacij, gest, ki ga ne obvladam. Roman je povsem avtobiografsko delo. V njem ni izmišljenih oseb in napisan je v obliki spomino
